Himalaya’s Purifying Mud Pack: Review

By Upasana (Entry #10)

Till last year, I was one of the person who loved to use face pack atleast once a week. And my favorite face pack (himalaya’s neem face pack) was over, so while I was about to get it from the chemist shop, I spotted this purifying mud face pack. Since this was my 1stcommercial mud pack (before this I had just tried fuller’s earth ) .. read on to know my experience.

Claims :-

A unique formulation of natural ingredients that refreshes and rejuvenates the facial skin by absorbing excess oil and removing impurities. It is enriched with walnut, which removes blackheads and dead cells. Fuller’s earth, which removes deep-seated impurities. Mineral clay improves circulation and makes skin soft and tender.

The packaging is something I prefer most of the times, which is a tube packaging. The fragrance of the pack is refreshing, and as soon as you sniff it, the cool notes hit your senses and gives a calming effect, the same happens when you use it on face. The texture of the face pack is fine, neither too thick and rigid, and nor too runny, but is consistent enough to be used with mixing it with water, therefore it spreads easily on face. It dries off in around 10minutes easily and doesn’t stretches and cracks like most of the mud packs.

What i like about this face pack is that despite being a mud pack, it doesn’t strips your skin of the required oil, and doesn’t leaves your skin excessively dry or stretch. It gives a nice clean glow to the skin (which is ofcourse temporary). The other thing which is good is, It can be used by normal and oily skin girls (though I think that dry skin girls can too try this, as it isn’t that strong), also it has never sting my skin. It didn’t really work much on any zits however.

I’d suggest it to girls who have oily skin, and they should, if not this one, should include a nice mud pack in their skin regime once a week.

Have you tried this face pack ?? 🙂
