Swatch Attack!: MAC Indian Lipsticks Collection

If there was one MAC collection I was eagerly waiting for, it was the Indian Lipsticks collection! Finally its here and the good news it is a part of the permanent collection! Thanks to the fact it was made permanent, I was in no hurry to buy any of these. But of course I did! πŸ˜›
The colors would suit Indian skintones perfectly! You are sure to pick atleast one from this collection!

Shade Description (as given on the MAC site)

  • Tabla: Chocolate Brown
  • Double Shot: Full Bodied Mocha Cream
  • Yash: Deep Neutral
  • Mehr: Dirty Blue Pink
I tried out all the 4 shades in the store and here is my opinion on them based on the colors only. (Skintone: NC 37.5)
Β
Tabla (Amplified): Tabla was one shade that washed me out completely!! It made me look extremely pale.
Β
Tabla
Double Shot (Amplified): This one was a little dark on me.

Double Shot
Yash (Matte): This one gave me the β€œno lips” look!! πŸ˜€ When I tried this one it looked like as if I had concealed my lips completely!!
Β
Yash
Mehr (Matte): My new love!! It was THE perfect shade! I loved the way Mehr looked on me. Review coming up soon!!

Dark Side (Amplified): Okay so the MUA at MAC swatched this also as a part of the Indian Collection and when Rekha and I reminded her that there were only 4 shades in the collection she said the stock for this one came in with the Indian lipsticks and so she showed it to us. Nevertheless I would have loved it if this shade was a part of the collection! It completes the collection IMO. πŸ˜€
