Fab Bag July 2017 Review

If you aren’t tired of the umpteen Coco Chanel quotes floating online, here’s one more.

“If you’re sad, add more lipstick and attack!” – Coco Chanel

Fab Bag July 2017 Review, Indian Makeup Blog

Well, to add another lipstick to my ever growing army of lipsticks, I purchased the July Fab Bag. Why? Well, read on.

The July Fab Bag is a pink coloured zipper pouch filled with goodies for 599 INR. Here’s what I got in the bag this month:

Now the reason why I ordered the Fab Bag this month was because it contains one of the newly launched shadese of Sugar Cosmetics Matte as Hell Crayon Lipstick. The crayon lipstick is priced at 799 INR. So ordering the July Fab Bag made complete sense, because along with the lip crayon, it contains four more sample size products. A win-win situation, if I may say so.

The next item in the bag that I was excited about was the Just Herbs Herb Enriched Skin Tint. The brand claims that it suits all skin types and compliments skin shade and blends easily. It also claims that the tint is part-skincare, part-makeup, blurs imperfections, masks large pores and primes blemishes and nurtures skin tone and provides sun protection.

Now that is a long list of claims. I’m curious to see if the Herb Enriched Skin Tint lives up to the claims or not. If you’ve tried it, let me know, in the comments down below, if it has worked for you or not.

Apart from these two, what caught my attention was the Tvakh Fruit Enzyme Alcohol-Free Toner. The brand claims that the Fruit Enzyme Toner is designed with premium fruit extracts that contain natural AHA and BHA activity that deeply cleans, tones, exfoliates, reduces pore size with optimum hydration. A multitasking product that will keep your skin smooth and radiant.

Again, I’m curious to see if all these claims hold true. While I generally use rice water or cucumber water as a toner, the words ‘fruit enzyme’ has intrigued me to give this a try.

Last but not the least, the bag contains Kronokare Hydrate the Hair! Shampoo. The brand claims that this citrus blend shampoo gently cleanses the hair while delivering some acai extract and pure essential oils that moisturize the hair cells deeply. A much-needed product for my dull, frizzy and dry hair.
