Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion for Dry Skin: Review

Sometimes as a beauty blogger, there is always this need to make mental notes of the products you use and “save” the covers, ingredients list and all the small things that come with a product keeping in mind a 300-350 word review post for the blog. Well, I did the same for the Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion BUT the cover was slightly battered when I took it out to photograph (mental note: keep a separate box/space in the cupboard for these!!). Well, all I would like to say is at this point is, do not judge the product by looking at the cover (in this case, the first picture).

Cetaphil was a brand that I discovered recently and be it the gentle facewash or the ultra hydrating lotion, I’ve loved all the products I’ve used from this brand. But the best of them all is the the Moisturizing Lotion for Dry Skin which gave me a reason to believe in store bought skincare products.

Price: 230 INR for 100 ml

Ingredients:

Packaging: The lotion comes in an opaque white plastic bottle. The bottle isn’t really travel friendly but then hey! the lotion is so damn good that I shouldn’t really be complaining about the packaging!! If you’ve read my skincare routine, you’ll know how much I love this one!

If you have dry or extremely dry skin, this one is for you. The moisturizing lotion is creamy yet light on the skin. You don’t have to wait for it to sink into your skin and so on and so forth. Slather, blend, whoosh! it disappears without a trace of product on your skin. Yet the skin feels moisturized.

I’ve been using this for nearly four months now and regular usage of this moisturizer has made my skin feel softer and look healthy and hydrated. I use it on my face and hands and I’ve found that whenever I use this my skin stays hydrated the entire day. So the lazy me who hates reapplication of anything be it moisturizer, sunscreen, lipstick approves of this one!!

Final Word: Those of you who always go on and on about how dry your skin is, go to a pharmacy, get this one and see the difference! You’ll probably have one less thing to complain about 😛
