Kryolan Blusher: R6: Review/Swatch/FOTD

Here’s the truth! I don’t have many pink blushers in my collections and the ones I have are very unique in their own way! Initially when i saw R6 in the store my instant thought was “Nay!! Another boring pink!!” but when I swatched it I loved it!

I’ve already reviewed Lake and Youth Red so I really don’t want to get into the details of Kryolan blushers in general.

Price: 350 INR for 2.5g
The color is a pretty unique one. It looks like a warm pink in the pan but when swatched it is more of a reddish-pink. When used the blush offers a warm glow. I would totally recommend this to beginners who want to try Kryolan blushers. This color is easier to apply than Youth Red or Lake and those are way more pigmented than this one.
Swatch:

This is how it looks on me:

There is nothing I dislike about this blush so here is a list of what I like about this blush:
  • Good for everyday wear; not as bold and bright as other Kryolan blushers
  • Unique color; It is one rare pink that looks good on all skintones.
  • Loved the fact that it is a powder blush yet creamy in texture (best of both worlds!!)
Final Word:Β I wouldn’t say R6 is a must have but it can definitely be the first blush you may want to try from Kryolan to get used to the texture, pigmentation and then move on to the bolder, brighter ones. πŸ™‚
