Finally I’m here writing about what I love the most. Hauls!!

I absolutely love showing off what I’ve bought as well seeing pictures and reading about others’ haul posts. It’s more of an online version of “window shopping” 😛

Since I have a lot to talk about the accessories I bought on my Goa trip, I’ll quickly talk about my haul from Girl Thinks first. Girl Thinks is an online jewellery store which has the most unique paper jewellery ever. I absolutely loved each and every piece they had for sale. I bought two earrings and a neck piece just to see if the quality was good and I must say I am thoroughly impressed! The earrings are priced at 85 INR a pair and the neck piece at 200 INR.

I will definitely be doing several OOTDs featuring these jewellery. Love love love them!

If you had seen my last week’s Weekly Ramblings post, I had shown you a preview of the accessories I had bought in Goa. Initially when we told about what to expect during the off season, we had made up our minds that shopping was out of the question since it was the monsoon season and we were told that there would be no flea markets to shop from but we were completely taken aback by the number of street shops that were there and by how much we shopped in three days! Take a look. I do not remember the rates of everything but the most “expensive” piece I bought was I think between 150-250 INR.

The three neck pieces shown below were 50 INR each.

I loved this red neck piece that I bought three colors of the same pattern! A turquoise blue, purple (shown above) and red!It would go well with a black saree or a black dress or so I assumed and bought three. 😉

This moustache necklace was too cute to not buy! 😀

The next three neck pieces shown below were my “expensive” purchases – 250 INR each. I thought it was completely worth it considering the quality is fabulous. We bought this in a store which had some amazing and unique jewellery that we didn’t find anywhere else.

I bought this neck piece at Anjuna Beach. The roadside shops had amazing jewellery but sadly most of them were rusted.

I bought this wooden neck piece to wear with cotton sarees. It would also go well with a plain cotton kurta.

These bracelets were also too cute to not buy!

I bought this wooden bracelet along with an Om wooden bracelet at a small shop near Anjuna beach. You really need know Hindi/Marathi and you need to be an expert at bargaining to buy jewellery at these small shops otherwise they’ll fleece you. Honestly, not knowing Hindi was a huge drawback for me. I do not know how to converse in Hindi although I can understand the language pretty well. Thankfully Sneha and Nisha were experts at bargaining and of course, being from the North and West they knew Hindi. The maximum I spoke was “bhaiyya yeh kitna hai?” “nahi” “nahi chahiye” *expecting them to reduce the price and call us back*

Although these bangles look slightly old, I loved them. Had to get them! They were I guess 50 bucks each.

I bought 4 bracelets (one not pictured here) for very very reasonable rates. If you have been following me on Instagram you would have seen a picture of the hamsa bracelet. Gosh I searched for this one everywhere and finally found it in Goa! Hurray!

Of course, I couldn’t resist taking off one from the bracelet and attaching one of my om pendants to make a unique pendant of my own. 😉

I found these pendants in a shop full of curios from Nepal. Still thinking of how to use these.

These headbands for 30 INR were just what I needed! Can’t wait to wear them in Chennai!

These bracelets were the first accessories I bought on my trip to Goa. I loved them so much that I bought a few more for gifting purposes. 🙂

I found these type of necklaces everywhere in Goa. I picked four for myself. These were between 20-30 INR after bargaining.

Finally, to end this post, here is a picture of two pendants that I bought in Chennai at Sundari Silks during their annual sale.
