My views on Color burst lip gloss Aubergine:

This range from Revlon is my first love for glosses. I was always a lipstick-person till the time I tried this particular shade from the colorburst range. I was and still am a big fan of this shade as it adds the perfect color and a lovely gloss to my lips.

Shade: Aubergine is a true beautiful plum color with minute, silver shimmers. I love mauves/plum shades and so this was an instant love for me. It looks more mauve-ish in indoor lights while more of a pinky plum in natural light. The shade Aubergine is one of the best selling colorburst lip gloss and it would definitely suit all skin tones equally well.

Texture: Pigmented and light-weight. It is very moisturizing and thus a boon for dry chapped lips. The shade does not bleed, will not settle in fine lines and fades away evenly. The shade is not very dark and have good pigmentation so one swipe is enough for my lips. If you have pigmented lips, then you can use 2 coats of it.

Staying power: It stays on for 3 hours on me with little eating. After 3 hours, a slight pink stain is left behind on your soft lips. The shade won’t survive full meals and a touch-up would be necessary.

Packaging:The clear plastic rectangular pack with a matte black cap is quite ok, nothing too attractive about the packaging. The doe foot sponge applicator is really good and it picks and packs color uniformly.
