I am going through a blush phase right now and I love ones which give a natural look yet add a little color. NYX as a brand is very famous for their blushes. I was looking for a few shades and sadly most of the shades aren’t available online. NYX does not have a retail outlet either. Moreover they are cost a lot more here in India. So after a lot of research I zeroed in on NYX Mocha for me.

Packaging: NYX powder blushes come in a cute square pan which a transparent lid and that makes it easy to identify the color. The cap shuts perfectly however a little mishandling can lead to breakage. The blush is pressed into the pan in a quilted pattern which makes it look nice.
Shade: NYX Mocha is warm dusty pink color. It’s a matte blush. The color is really nice for daily wear. It gives a warmth to the cheeks and looks natural.
Texture and Pigmentation: The texture of this blush is smooth. Matte blushers are mostly known to be chalky but this one is not. It is an extremely pigmented blush; A single swipe gives me the required color. It blends smoothly and gives a natural flush to the cheeks. Mocha looks pretty on Indian skin tones. It does not clog pores and hasn’t caused any breakout till now.
Staying Power: During a hot sweaty summer day, it stays for about 5-6 hours on my oily skin and in winters it stays a little longer say, around 6-7 hours. Overall I am pretty impressed with its staying power.

Final Word: NYX Mocha is a very nice subtle blush which can be used for daily wear. It gives a good amount of warmth to the cheeks. The staying power is impressive and pigmentation is decent enough. I often reach out for this blush when in doubt and it never fails to impress. If you want to try a blush from NYX, I would suggest this shade. I am sure you will equally love it.
