This is very subtle makeup, yet difficult to carry by most of the girls because it has got a spectacular thick cut crease (which isn’t hard to make) and can be beneficial to those girls who have got small eyes. I’ve never looked beyond blushers whenever I go to a cosmetics store! Lets face it! I’m a blush addict. But if there is something in recent times that has managed to grab my attention left right and center it has to be the Mascara! Holy Moly! I can’t believe I looked past this wonder product till the beginning of this year!(although I had tried a horrible one from Avon and was completely put off by it!) Today’s review will be on one of my favourite mascaras from Maybelline (for the sole reason it curls my lashes and nothing else!!).

Hi all 🙂

Wwoooott 😛 my first tutorial on Divassence Finally ! 😀 So here I am with a very simple eye makeup tutorial, not one of my best so far, nevertheless I wanted to keep it simple 🙂

So lets Start with the tutorial ..

Stuff needed :-

Beige, soft purple, black/charcoal, gold and a highlighter eyeshadow
Black Eyeliner
Mascara
Kohl

Step 1 :- Prime Lids and apply base eyeshadow

Start with clean lids and blend primer (you can use a skin colored eye pencil, white pencil, primer potions, concealer sticks, paint pots etc) . Then apply a beige colored e/s (you can skip it if you want, but lately I’ve been using beige e/s as a base e/s) all over the eye lid.

I was in search of the perfect pink lipstick for me at the MAC store a few days back. When I was suggested Captive, it looked too dark in the tube for me and I thought “Oh well! another shade not meant for me!” but when I tried it on i loved it! (although it isn’t a pink as such..but what the hell! we are allowed to deviate from our goals once in a while, aren’t we? 😉 )

Divassence’s Celebrations Giveaway! – CLOSED

I am so happy to announce this giveaway because there are many reasons that call for a celebration (you’ll know all of them in due course of time 😉 ) with the most important reason being its the blog’s birthday next month (September 8th) and the blogging world has given me so much that I’ve not only made a lot of amazing friends here but also become a more confident person!

The Giveaway is open internationally.

I’ve included various Inglot, Kryolan, NYX, LA Colors goodies so hope you guys like it! There are a total of 3 prizes (I’m not naming them 1st, 2nd or 3rd).

Writing articles isn’t compulsory but the person who writes the maximum number of articles will be declared a winner and will be given the option of choosing between Prize no. 1 and 2. The next winner will be chosen by random.org and will receive the other prize. Prize no. 3 is for the person who writes the most innovative post (will be chosen by me).

A few pointers for those who are planning to write posts:

Only product reviews and tutorials will be considered
ONLY original reviews and pictures will be considered.
The article must contain all the necessary details along with a minimum of 4 pictures. Tutorials can have more pictures and lesser writing but the products used must be mentioned.
Blurry pictures and pictures taken from mobile phones will not be considered. Pictures must be clear.
The pictures have to be watermarked with “www.divassence.blogspot.com” in italics.
Each published article is worth 10 points
The last date for sending in articles is October 8th
