Smokey Green Eye makeup With Double Eyeliner Tutorial

By Upasana (Entry #6)

Hi all !!

This is going to be another simple tutorial, has no calculations in it, and very effortless to attempt. The only thing which can make it difficult for you is “eyeliner application”, because this look requires 2 liners 😛 So without waiting, lets jump onto the tutorial part..

Step 1 :- Prime lids & apply base shadow
I have this habit of using a black gel liner or a pencil as a base in most of the smokey eye makeup, but I skipped it this time, as I wanted to let the actual color to work on its own, in simple words I wanted to test it 😀 So I just applied a pretty forest+olive green shadow starting from the inner corner, and covering almost all the lid, except leaving some space for the outer “smoke” thing.

Step 2 :- Blend Crease

Then using a fluffy brush, I blended the green shadow with a brown shadow all over the socket. Using a brown shadow over the crease, helps in defining and adding a bit depth to the socket of your eyes.

Step 3 :- Line your eyes
Then I customized a liner for myself using Inglot Duraline, I somehow choose cranberry to line my eyes, I don’t know why I opted for it, anyways do let me know if it works with the green. You can use any liner if you want. So I drew a pretty thick liner all across my lashes, and pulled it outwards. After that dried up, I picked up my black gel liner, and used it to draw a thin line along my lashline. This will help to pacify the cranberry colored liner. I used the cranberry liner on my lower lashline too, if you want you can skip it too.

Step 4 :- Highlight & Clean
I noticed that the liner application was ok, I mean not crisp from the lower portion, hence I took a Q-tip and used it to re-define the wing. After that I filled in my waterline with a black kajal, and finished up with a mascara.

This is the final look 🙂
