Packaging: The Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Oil In Cream Review comes in a squeeze tube which is of a really good quality with a flip open cap. The color scheme is the same as the Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition shampoo and conditioner. It is a yellow, but more precisely a ripe mango yellow color. The yellow tube with green and white text is something that caught my eye (in a good way!).

Honestly, oiling my hair is something I religiously used to do. But nowadays, all I do is use a little almond and olive oil on my hair tips every alternate day and once a week use both on my scalp and wash it off the next day.Since laziness is my middle name, realization dawns very very late. When my hair falls like how leaves shed during autumn, I use a combination of oils as an overnight masque with a promise of regular oil massage which eventually is broken .

The Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Oil In Cream makes my life and would make those who find the process of applying oil to one’s hair tedious a lot easier. Enriched with the goodness of Olive , Almond & Coconut Oils and fruit vitamins, this leaves the hair moisturized, less frizzy and manageable. I have to say, it was true in my case.

The cream has a pleasant fruity scent which isn’t too strong.

Garnier Oil in Cream Review

I tried using this product in two ways:

  1. As a leave in conditioner post washing my hair: I took a little more than a pea size amount of it and applied it from the middle of my hair. This left my hair manageable and my hair did not frizz out during the day.
  2. As a hair masque: I had used this as a hair masque from the root till the tip and left it on for about 20 minutes. The frizz had reduced considerably. I had used the shampoo and conditioner from the same range and my hair remained intact for nearly two days.

I do not believe in using a store bought overnight masque on my hair overnight except for oil. I generally prefer to use a mix of olive, castor and almond oil, apply it and leave it on overnight. So I did not try this product as an overnight treatment. If any of you have, do let me know if it worked for you.

Garnier Oil in Cream Review How to use

Pros:

  • Smoothens frizzy hair
  • Makes thick hair manageable
  • Gives a healthy shine to the hair
  • Sturdy quality packaging
  • Pocket-friendly; The 50g for 35 INR tube can be carried while travelling

Cons:
The only con if I had to point out one is the numerous chemicals in the ingredients list.

Over continuous usage, I’ve noticed that the frizz has reduced considerably and my hair has a shine to it and is a lot more manageable.

Final Word: If you have thick, frizzy hair like mine, I would definitely recommend this one.
