Smokey Green Eye makeup With Double Eyeliner Tutorial

By Upasana (Entry #6)

Hi all !!

This is going to be another simple tutorial, has no calculations in it, and very effortless to attempt. The only thing which can make it difficult for you is “eyeliner application”, because this look requires 2 liners 😛 So without waiting, lets jump onto the tutorial part..

Step 1 :- Prime lids & apply base shadow
I have this habit of using a black gel liner or a pencil as a base in most of the smokey eye makeup, but I skipped it this time, as I wanted to let the actual color to work on its own, in simple words I wanted to test it 😀 So I just applied a pretty forest+olive green shadow starting from the inner corner, and covering almost all the lid, except leaving some space for the outer “smoke” thing.

MAC Magenta Blush: Review/Swatch

Looks bright and scary in the pan? – Yep!
A difficult color to wear? – Check!
Unique color? – Oh hell yea!
That kind of sums up my criteria for buying a blush nowadays and MAC Magenta prfectly fits the bill! I think now that I have enough pink, coral, orange, peach blushers (and also a few which I call “safe” to wear anytime anyday!) its time to get into the experiment mode!

Hi all 🙂

Today I will be doing another smokey eyemakeup tutorial, but this time it is Simple brown smokey. I must admit that I haven’t been a person sporting a brown smokey, perhaps the reason for the same is that I feel brown shadow kind of make me look ill and dirty. So for me a brown smokey eye makeup was a big no, I always used brown to blend in other shadows or to add depth. But in this tutorial, I have just used brown shadows 🙂

Step 1 :- Prime lids & apply base
Since I wanted a strong base for this look, actually smokey eye makeup is all about strong firm base no matter what colors you use 😉 . I first applied and blended a shadow base only on the lid. Then with a flat shadow brush, I patted very little amount of a black gel liner (you can use a pencil, or a black shadow base, whichever you have) and applied it close to lashes, and gently patting + pulling it across the lid in order to feather it out. But with this, I didn’t make any specific shape, I just followed the shape of my eye.
