Product Description: Paraben free formula. Not tested on animals; Vitamin E, evening primrose, avocado butter and special esters and silicones allow for an easy and even application from this lipstick that combines a cream gel formula with a unique long lasting shine.
My take on the refill #20:
If you are looking for a bright yet not overly intense coral color then this shade can be a great choice.
Shade: The shade is quite a true coral with a hint of pink visible in indoor lights though in the pan and when swatched, it looks like a proper orange shade. The color is bright and beautiful, and can look lovely on fair to medium skin tones. Dusky skin tones can better use a patted/stained version of the same color with the glossiness subsided.
Texture: Smooth and brilliant. I love the light and pigmented texture of the Inglot lipsticks that won’t bleed or smear. No dryness or a weird stain can be seen after the shade fades away.
Longevity: The color stays on my lips all on its own (without a balm or lip liner) for around 3 hours with a full meal in between. I hardly find a need for a re-application after having a meal, the way I prefer (well you can’t carry a lip brush and a pack in your handbag all the time for a touch-up ;)). With light snacks, I think it would stay put for another hour easily.
Packaging: Metallic refill housed inside a transparent plastic case. Better get a lip palette to store these refills as they are not good enough to be carried alone like this.
- A love-at-first-sight shade for me :P.
- Smooth and pigmented texture.
- No dryness felt later.
- Decent staying power.
- Easily available online that too at a discount these days.
- Not much transferrable and survives a meal too.
- Keeping them safe is an issue. Extra investment into a lip palette is required.
Rating: 4.5/5 (my standard rating for an inglot lipstick, I feel :D)
Recommendation: Lovely color that should not be missed. If you are an orange (color) fan like me, get this one.
